Self-sufficient energy supply

The AUBELE developers intend to create a self-sufficient lighting system for remote bus stops and other secluded areas, which do not have any underground power lines. Since a solar-only supply - for climatic reasons - would not be sufficient, the developers focus on a tripel-hybrid system consisting of a hydrogen fuel cell as well as optional solar panels. Since the fuel cell can be loaded with "green" hydrogen, a 100% CO2-neutral energy supply seems possible

Furthermore, an intelligent energy management system as well as highly sophisticated sensors will be used to minimize the energy need of the AUBELE lighting system and seal it off from detrimental environmental factors such as frost and humidity.
