Harz University: Situated in Wernigerode, Harz Unversity is one of the most modern Universities for Applied Sciences in Eastern Germany. More than 3.000 students are enrolled in degree courses such as Computer Science, Automation and Business Psychology.

argus electronic GmbH: The measurement technology and automation company was founded in 1994 and currently employs seven people. The argus measurement products are distributed worldwide.

HarzOptics GmbH: HarzOptics was founded in 2006 by engineers from Harz University and quickly became a scientific institute associated with the alma mater. Research is focused on lighting technology, POF data transmission and optics measurment. HarzOptics specializes in LED color place measurement and offers individualized measurement services.
