AuLED LED street light
Harz University and the HarzOptics GmbH have already been engaged in
the design of an eco-friendly outdoor LED lighting system - the AuLED -
which was developed between 2007 and 2009 in close cooperation with the
AUTEV AG Brandenburg (also the current AuLED distributor).
AuLED street lights use about 42% less energy than conventional gas
discharge lamps - and thanks to the intelligent dimming, even more
energy (and thus CO2) can be saved. For their role in the development
of this eco-friendly product, HarzOptics has been distinguished as one
of the three most innovative green companies in Saxony-Anhalt in 2008.
